Orange County's center for charitable giving, has undertaken two key initiatives to support the growth
of sustainable social enterprises, a Social Enterprise Seed Fund and a Social Enterprise Loan Fund.
INVESTORS CIRCLE
The IC Network is comprised of angel investors, professional
venture capitalists, foundations, family offices and others who are using private capital to promote the transition to a sustainable
economy by addressing social and environmental issues.
TECH COAST ANGELS
Angel
investors are becoming a powerful new funding source for growth oriented social enterprises. Southern California's
Tech Coast Angels, which typically funds high-tech startups, now regularly invests in alternative energy, green building,
and other social benefit ventures that solve social problems and produce competitive market returns.
LOS ANGELES SOCIAL VENTURE PARTNERS
Los Angeles Social Venture
Partners (LASVP) is a diverse network of professionals who are pioneering a new model of giving by bringing the
collective expertise and resources of its membership to innovative nonprofits in Los Angeles that have the capacity to
transform local communities.
